A 2 week (40 hours a week) training program developed in conjunction with employers to gain employment.
About half the time in classroom learning the needed skill knowledge that employers desire, the other half is learning to operate the multiple pieces of warehouse equipment (such as forklifts, stand-up reach lifts, powered pallet jacks, “walkie-rider pallet jacks”, and “order-Picker / “Cherry-Picker” lifts.
Graduates receive credentials such as the OSHA “Operator’s Forklift License”, OSHA-10 Safety Certification, Certification as “CWMH” with certificate of all the knowledge and skills listed.
Employers normally come to classes to recruit graduates. Pay ranges from $12.50 an hour with the norm around $15.00 per hour ($600/week).
